Lil Tracy stays high fashion on new song “Rip Karl Lagerfeld”
His debut album Anarchy is coming, probably.
Lil Tracy has an understandably complicated relationship with the music industry. It's a monstrous place to work even for a self-proclaimed vampire, which is why delays have beset Tracy's debut album Anarchy. In his FADER cover story, Tracy promised that the project would return to the emo-rap sound he pioneered, but his latest song "Rip Karl Lagerfield" leans more into boisterous trap-edged bragging about big racks and pricey belts, while hinting at his inner and industrial turmoil. "Rip Karl Lagerfield," which features a glistening beat from iano, is streaming above. The song follows Tracy's appearance last week on Fish Narc's "Why?" with Zubin and Fantasy Camp.
