Tyler the Creator's IGOR tops the Billboard 200 this week, giving the rapper his first no. 1 album on the chart. He beat out DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd to top the chart.
The New York Times reports the album earned 165,000 equivalent album units, 74,000 of which were traditional album sales. Tyler the Creator's last album, Flower Boy, debuted at no. 2 in 2017.
Khaled's Father of Asahd landed at no. 2 on the chart this week, selling 136,000 equivalent album units.
According to The Times, the deciding factor for which album would top the chart was traditional album sales.
