One of the more annoying side-effects of this early phase of the music streaming wars is that until, say, one streaming platform claims true dominance, we won’t really be able to listen to everything we want at once. Case-in-point: After buying over TIDAL a few years back, JAY Z pulled his music from all streaming services except his own in order to drive fans to that platform, meaning that fans couldn’t listen to his classics — namely Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint — without getting a new subscription.
Until today, that is! JAY Z has put all three Blueprint records back on Apple Music. (Maybe he needed some extra cash after being hit with two lawsuits this week?) They join the ranks of all Jay’s albums from In My Lifetime through to 2017’s 4:44 and 2018’s Beyoncé collab EVERYTHING IS LOVE. Reasonable Doubt is still unavailable on any platform except TIDAL, and Spotify still has nothing except EVERYTHING IS LOVE. Stream the Blueprint trilogy on Apple Music.
