French Montana joins Max B for “Hold On,” his first new song in eight years

New York rapper Max B has been locked up since 2009 on federal murder charges, but in 2016 he announced that he had taken a plea deal of aggravated manslaughter and would be released in two to six years. The timeline for his release is still unknown, but on Tuesday Max B shared "Hold On," his first song in eight years with featured artist and close friend French Montana.

One of the first artists to popularize melodic hip-hop at the street level, Max B returns to where his influence began for "Hold On."
