Last year, Rhye released his sophomore album Blood, his first project in five years. We won't have to wait nearly so long for the followup, as Mike Milosh has just announced that his new project Spirit is dropping next week. The piano-driven record will feature collaborations with Ólafur Arnalds and Thomas Bartlett.
"It's a collection of songs I did alone in the studio with just a piano, intertwined with collaborations with some of my favorite piano-based musicians," Milosh said of the project. Ahead of it's release next Friday (May 10), he's offering a teaser single with "Needed," a delicate and yearning track that swells with a bit of orchestral instrumentation in its back half.
