In his speech Nipsey is heard saying: “Stay inspired, show love to your people. I just wanted to say some words of encouragement. Y’all stay focused, y’all keep working hard.”
The Sunday Service tribute arrived on the same day it was announced that Nipsey's album Victory Lap has risen to no. 2 on Billboard 200 one week after the rapper’s death
A memorial event for the late rapper will be held this Thursday, April 11, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Eric Holder, the man accused of shooting the rapper and injuring two others, has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He pled not guilty during a court appearance on April 4.
