Tommy Genesis has more facets to her personality and music than meets the eyes. This has allowed her to weave in and out of group projects like her early band God's Girls to working with Father under Awful Records to a short stint in the group babby.daddi with Ye Ali and Wes Period. But through it all, she's also maintained her own creative integrity with strong solo music.
Since signing to Downtown Records in 2017, Tommy released a handful of singles which finally culminated with her self-titled debut project in 2018. The FADER invited her to talk about her early start in music, challenging accepted norms of authority at school, and linking with Father.
