It looks like Nicki Minaj's unique voice has landed her a voiceover gig.
Variety reports that the rapper has signed on to join the cast of Angry Birds Movie 2. Though Minaj's role is currently unknown, she'll be working alongside an all-star cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage, who will all be reprising their roles from the first film. More A-listers including Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Lil Rel Howery, and more will star in the film too.
As pointed out by Complex, this role is not Minaj's first venture into voiceover acting. In 2012, she voiced the role of Steffie in Ice Age: Continental Drift.
Angry Birds Movie 2 hits theaters August 16, 2019.
