Up-and-coming Baton Rouge rapper 70th Street Carlos has arrived with his debut body of work, dropping off the nine-track 777 today. Stream it down below via The FADER.
The tape includes a few of the Lousiana native's previously released singles, including the brass-lined "Change On Me", "Fox", and "Sprite." Carlos also delivers a number of new tracks, tinged with his own fresh take on Baton Rouge's historically infectious bounce sound.
"777 can mean good or bad...you can win off a 7 or you can lose by a 7," Carlos tells The FADER. "This project is way deeper, it may sound simple and catchy—but it's real life with a lotta fun shit nigga be doing too."
