Watch a trailer for Netflix’s Fyre Festival documentary

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for Fyre, a documentary on the catastrophic music festival that dissolved spectacularly hours before it began. Watch above via Pitchfork. The film, which is available to stream January 18 2019 and directed by Chris Smith, promises “a first-hand look into the disastrous crash of Fyre as told by the organizers themselves.”

Fyre Festival was founded by Ja Rule and Billy McFarland, who was recently sentenced to six years in prison on wire fraud charges relating to Fyre Festival. Hulu is also planning its own Fyre Festival documentary series.
