Cardi B announces that she and Offset are separating

Cardi B has announced that her and Offset are splitting up. In an Instagram posted to her account late Tuesday night, Cardi said that she has "been trying to work things out with my baby father for a minute now...but things haven’t been working out between us for a long time." She maintained that while the two remain partners in business and parenthood, and she has a lot of love for Offset, the two are not together. "It might take time to get a divorce," she added. In the comments of the post, Offset chimed in, saying "y'all won." He then shared, via his Instagram story, that he will be dropping a new song on Wednesday. The announcement comes just days after seemingly hinting at a full collaborative project in an interview with the New York Times.
