Nicki Minaj headed home to Queens, New York on Thursday to bring some Thanksgiving cheer. The rapper, who released new album Queen earlier this year, turned up in South Jamaica where she reportedly handed out over 500 turkeys for locals to enjoy.
The NYPD 113th Precinct posted photos of her philanthropic act on Twitter, adding: "Who says rappers don't give back to the neighborhood they come from?" Minaj shared the post and thanked the police department.

Nicki's latest move comes off the back of a testing few months for the rapper in which she has clashed repeatedly with rival Cardi B, reportedly been sued by Tracy Chapman, and been at the center of rumors about flying to China for what turned out to be a hoax music festival.
