JT of City Girls thanks fans, shouts out Cardi B in phone call from jail
The group’s new album Girl Code is out now.
Currently incarcerated City Girls member JT gave a quick shout out to Cardi B and all her fans in a new phone call from jail. The call, posted on Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas's Instagram page on Monday sees JT giving a quick thank you to Cardi for jumping on the album version of the Girls's latest single "Twerk."
"First of all, I would like to thank Cardi for being on the "Twerk" record. That means a lot to me because I honestly look up to you. I cannot wait to see the video, I know you gon' do your thing," she says. The South Florida rapper then turned her attention to the fans, sending some love to all the "City girls and boys" who supported the project and also to everyone who helped promote the album.
City Girls's new album Girl Code dropped last week on Friday. The 13-track project features appearances from Lil Baby, Jacquees, and Cardi B.
