Lil Peep's posthumous album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2, is finally here.
Peep, real name Gustav Åhr, unexpectedly died of a drug overdose last November. Since then, his estate, as well as some of his collaborators, have been releasing a string of singles off the record, including "Cry Alone," "Runaway", and "Life Is Beautiful." Last month, it was announced that a documentary about the late artist was in the works.
Peep's mother, Liza Womack, recently opened up about the importance of the new record, stating that it would have been "the album he would have made if he were living."
"I feel very proud of what Columbia Records has done with Gus's album," she said. "And I feel very proud of what Dylan [the album’s producer, a.k.a. Smokeasac] has done to preserve the legacy of his and Gus's album. This is the album that Gus would've wanted."
