Lil Peep's official Instagram account was updated on Monday with the picture of a "test cassette" bearing the title of the late rapper's upcoming posthumous project, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2. No release information was announced, but the cassette has the date September 14, 2018 on the label, suggesting when it was made.
Lil Peep's longtime producer Smokeasac confirmed the existence of Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 in December, saying the project would be released "when the time is right." Since then, a stream of new music has been shared, including collaborations with Clams Casino, Marshmello, XXXTentacion and ILoveMakonnen, and solo track "Sex With My Ex." A fan-sourced clothing line called NO SMOK!NG is now in the works.
Lil Peep passed away on November 15, 2017 from an overdose of fentanyl and Xanax.
