There are no artists eligible for inclusion at the first time of availability on the longlist. To qualify for inclusion you need to have released an album at least 25 years ago, meaning 1994 for this year's crop. OutKast, The Fugees, The Roots, and Snoop Dogg all released albums that year but failed to be considered for the 2019 Rock Halll.

Nina Simone, Dire Straits, Bon Jovi, the Cars, the Moody Blues, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe were all inducted into 2018 class of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year.
