Zola Jesus shares a remix of Zedd and Maren Morris’s “The Middle”

By contrast, her remix of Zedd and Maren Morris's megahit "The Middle" sounds like surrender, as the hook's plea of "why don't you just meet me in the middle" is saturated in reverb, bassy synth lines, and an overwhelming feeling of finality.
