Before Kranium was winning the hearts of all the women and taking home the belt from Red Bull's Culture Clash, he had more humble beginnings. The now-dancehall star spent some time in his young adult life working at a McDonald's in JFK airport — you may have even caught a glimpse of him in the first Spider-Man movie because of it.
For the latest installment of The FADER's First Times series, Kranium reflects on what it took to get to where he's at now, bravely remembering the first time he got booed at a live show. He also recalls when the hardwork began paying off, sharing what he spent on his first big paycheck.
Watch the full video above, and be on the lookout for Kranium's debut album, out next February.
