On Monday, Saturday Night Live announced that Adam Driver will host the season premiere this fall, with Kanye West as the musical guest. It will be Driver's first go at host and Kanye's eighth time as the show's musical performer — the Chicago musician last appeared in 2015 to perform cuts off of his Life of Pablo album.
SNL will kick off again after a memorable 43rd season, which saw Cardi B announce her pregnancy, as well as performances from JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, and more. Last season also saw hosts including Ryan Gosling, Chadwick Boseman, Chance The Rapper, and Donald Glover, who doubled as host and musical guest.
The season premiere will kick off on September 29.
