Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, and more are opening up about how Mac Miller has impacted their lives. In a new, heartfelt episode of Open Late With Peter Rosenberg, Lamar and others sent in self-recorded videos sharing anecdotes about their friendships with Miller, who died last week Friday.
Lamar, who shared that he and Miller had the same "sick, twisted sense of humor," said that he was a "good dude."
"All in all that’s the type of person he was—just a good dude," Lamar said. "Always made you feel good, just a great energy to have around."
Ty Dolla $ign also opened up about his love for Miller, stating that Miller was his "brother," and that they were working on a new project together before he died. "I was just in the studio with him on my last off day on this tour," he said. "I'll still make sure [the project] comes out. I'll keep his memory alive."
Macklemore, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Xan, Smoke DZA, and others also pay tribute to Miller in the episode, which you can see in full, above.
