In a visit to Ellen on Wednesday morning, LeBron James and Channing Tatum did whatever it took to raise money for James's new I Promise school in Akron, Ohio. Host Ellen DeGeneres told the two celebrities that Wal-Mart would be donating to the school — but they'd have to earn it by completing a number of silly dares.
With each dare completed resulting in a $10,000 donation, James and Tatum quickly got to work, taking a shot of tequila with no hands, licking peanut butter off of their noses, and doing sexy crawls. The two reached $50,000 before DeGeneres announced that the donation would be rounded up to $100,000 — much to James's elation.
LeBron's I Promise school officially opened on July 30, and will reportedly serve at-risk kids at grades three and four,. The school will reportedly become fully operational by 2022, where kids grade one thorough eight will be able to attend.
