Everyone is ready for fall and winter so they can really start dressing.
A temperature drop isn’t always a bad thing.

While the slide into September signals cooler weather and heading back to class for some, for most of us it's the end of summer looks into warmer, more functional but still ~a look~ looks. Bidding heat wave faves goodbye is always hard, but the silver lining, as some Twitter users have seemed to find, is that fall and winter means everyone can "really start dressing."

Like any meme worth its weight in cashmere, it has roots in truth. Cold weather forces you to figure out ways to not freeze but also not look like a human burrito, which can be a tricky balance to strike. Some days you lose; the temperature dipping to depths so low you're forced to throw all caution, and hopes for not looking like shit, to the frozen wind. When done right, though, it makes naked trees and ice a bit more bearable.
