OMONDI is hosting a pop-up shop and live podcast recording that you should not miss
Shop the brand and attend a live recording of The Cutting Room Floor in September.
Earlier this summer, Recho Omondi, the New York-based fashion designer and powerhouse behind her breath-of-fresh-air line OMONDI, launched a podcast. Aptly named The Cutting Room Floor, it's a podcast hosted by Omondi herself, and features candid conversations about all-things fashion industry-related, with guests ranging from friends, peers, and power-players. The duo behind Diet Prada were guests on one recent episode, and it was OD informative and hilarious. My favorite moments on the podcast are when Omondi earnestly nerds-out about fashion tidbits she's lived and collected throughout her life, gathered from obscure posts on fashion forums of her youth, or heard through the young fashion professional grapevine. It's an informative and breezy listen that always leaves me googling into the night about whatever might have been discussed on a given episode.
On September 15th, OMONDI will be holding a special pop-up shop event at The Hoxton hotel in Williamsburg, as well as a live recording of The Cutting Room Floor. It will be open to the public, with seating available at a first-come, first-serve basis. If you care about fashion and clothes made from the heart, you'll definitely want to be there. See event details below, and to learn more about OMONDI, read this interview with the designer.
