Tiffany Haddish has joined the likes of Dave Chappelle, Amy Schumer, and Chris Rock in signing up to Netflix for a stand-up special. A fee for the special has yet to be revealed, though Schumer received $11m for her The Leather Special in 2017 and Chris Rock was paid $40m to provide two specials for the company.
Netflix announced the deal on Tuesday. The hour-long stand-up special will tape in early 2019 and debut sometime later that year. It will mark Haddish’s Netflix stand-up special debut.
Haddish will also star in Netflix's Tuca and Bertie, a new animated show from the producer of Bojack Horseman. Her next movie role is The Oath a new comedy about "Thanksgiving in the age of political tribalism."
