Sacha Baron Cohen's new show, Who Is America?, debuted on Showtime on Sunday night. Fans of Cohen will be familiar with the set-up: the British comic tricks various political figures into giving compromising interviews while disguised as a variety of characters. Pre-show hype for the series has already established that Sarah Palin, Roy Moore, and Dick Cheney were duped. In the run up to the show starting, broadcaster Showtime shared a 10 minute preview you can see above.
During one interview, Larry Pratt (Executive Director Emeritus of Gun Owners of America) is convinced to back a fictional gun training program for children as young as four years old. He does so by citing scientific evidence named after real-life musicians given to him by Cohen.
“Children under five also have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink-182, produced by the part of the liver known as the Rita Ora,” Pratt says. “This allows nerve reflexes to travel along the Cardi B neural pathway to the Wiz Khalifa 40% faster, saving time and saving lives.”
