YG has been released on bail after being arrested on a felony robbery charge. The arrest stems from an alleged incident in Las Vegas in which a fan of the rapper, whose new album Stay Dangerous is due next month, claims he had his chain stolen. TMZ reports YG was in court on July 12 after turning himself in and that he was released on $20,000 bail.
Last month YG was sued for $250,000 for assault, battery and theft in relation to the same incident. The unnamed fans says he met the rapper at Las Vegas's Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. When the fan asked for a photo he alleges YG became irritated and refused, later telling his crew to "get him." The fan claims they then physically assaulted him, and ran off with a gold chain and diamond-studded pendant.
The FADER has reached out to YG's representatives for further comment.
