Tomorrow, June 29, Florence and The Machine will release its fourth album, High As Hope. We've already heard lead single "Hunger" plus Jamie xx and Kamasi Washington-collaboration "Big God." On Wednesday night Florence Welch and her band played the former live on Stephen Colbert's Late Show. Check out the performance above.
Speaking about "Hunger" in a statement issued upon its release, Welch said: “This song is about the ways we look for love in things that are perhaps not love, and how attempts to feel less alone can sometimes isolate us more."
High as Hope was co-produced by Florence Welch and Emile Haynie, and features contributions from Sampha, Kelsey Lu, and Tobias Jesso Jr.
