Teejay3k and Mozzy’s “All I Know” is a paper chasing anthem

Peep the latest from the Pompano Beach, Florida artist.

Teejay3k’s voice is the kind that stops you in the middle of whatever you’re doing, and has you asking your friend to run the damn the track back. The 22 year old from Pompano Beach, Florida’s been honing his singing and rapping chops for the past few years, quietly releasing two volumes of his Cold Summer tape series and a few loosies, like his heartbreaking flip of Wyclef Jean’s “911.” His nasally, from-the-gut voice, delivery that flows like a sure-of-themselves cool kid taking a walk around the block, and ability to craft a hook that’s stuck in your head for weeks has made him one of my favorite artists to watch. Premiering today on The FADER is his newest track “All I Know,” featuring Mozzy.

Produced by DaveO and JuneOnnabeat, the track’s a hard and heartfelt one about doing everything you can to get to the money. When asked about it, Teejay shared, “[The] song came out of nowhere. As soon as Mozzy’s manager/producer DaveO played me the beat I immediately came up with an idea for the hook. Once Mozzy heard it we put everything together.” Listen to “All I Know” above, peep Teejay3k's Soundcloud, and be on the lookout for more from the Pompano Beach rising talent, including a feature on Mozzy’s upcoming Gangland Landlord album.
