French Montana is now a United States citizen

The rapper immigrated to the U.S. from Morocco when he was 13.

French Montana took the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance on Wednesday and is now a citizen of the United States, TMZ reports. The site's source says the rapper, who moved to the United States from Morocco at age 13, mailed his citizenship application in February 2017. French Montana shared his album Jungle Rules last year with the Swae Lee-featuring hit "Unforgettable."
