To describe the wait for CL's new music as excruciating might be a dramatic understatement. Back in 2015, the South Korean artist felt destined to cross-over. But despite having recorded over 200 songs for her big anticipated English language debut, we haven't really heard much from CL since the first single dropped back in 2016.
Today, CL shared an update from mega manager Scooter Braun that seems to point to a light at the end of a tunnel. In the Instagram clip, which you can watch below, Braun confirms that CL's new music is finally almost here. “We have the music, it is ready, and it is time for it to come out,” he says, insisting that the wait wasn't his fault. Better late than never, right? Sit back, relax, and get ready for CL.
