Sunflower Bean's second album represents something of a coming of age (all three members left their teens while making the record) as well as a discovering of a more political voice. "We want to make music that’s meaningful to people, and to be able to share what we were feeling with people who hear that and understand it means we’ve done something different for ourselves," vocalist Julia Cumming recently told The FADER.
