Jon Hopkins announces new album and shares “Emerald Rush”

British electronic mainstay Jon Hopkins has announced a new album, titled Singularity. The record, his first studio full-length since 2013's Immunity, will cover the grounds of "rugged techno to transcendent choral music, from solo acoustic piano to psychedelic ambient." Its out May 4th, via Domino.

Hopkins has also released the first single from the album, a track called "Emerald Rush" that's onomatopoeic in the sense that it truly does sound how its title might suggest.
