Ramriddlz’s “Pop Rocks” video is a tribute to Russian club kids
It’s decidedly not about candy, though.
If one thing's for certain about rising Toronto crooner Ramriddlz, it's that the kid appreciates a good visual tribute. Just a few weeks ago he dropped a video for "Worst Love," which was a faithful recreation of Alanis Morissette's "Ironic" music video. Now, he's taking a step toward the viral side of things with his "Pop Rocks" video, which heavily references this crazy footage of a Russian tyke going off in a club back in 1997.
Despite it's innocent name and visual cues, the subject matter of "Pop Rocks" is decidedly not child-friendly, but hey, that's not what we ask from a Ramriddlz video. Peep his wild night in St. Petersburg above.
