The Spice Girls won’t be touring again, according to Posh Spice
In a recent interview with Vogue, Victoria Beckham revealed that a Spice Girls reunion wouldn’t include a tour.
On the eve of her Sunday fashion show in New York, Victoria Beckham announced that her Spice Girl reunion would not be including a tour. This clarifies recent reports that suggested the group would be going on a U.K. and U.S. tour this summer. It was recently announced that the iconic girl group was ready to work together again.
“I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” Beckham told Vogue. While a reunion tour is not in the works, there's still an unknown future for the Spice Girls. Beckham said that she and the rest of the Spice Girls were still thinking about what a reunion entailed.
“You know, there’s so much bad stuff going on, and the Spice Girls were about fun and celebrating individuality," she said to Vogue. But she also pointed out that the future would look different than the Spice Girls' past.
"I think there’s so much that the brand can do, and it’s such a positive message for young kids. What does that look like in the future? It’s not me in a cat-suit.”
