On Saturday, news circulated that part of Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl halftime show would include a hologram of Prince. Naturally, everyone who knew anything about Prince was upset. Prince was known to hate holograms.
After much online discussion about the matter, Sheila E, a long time Prince collaborator posted to her Twitter account that Prince would not be appearing in hologram form at the Super Bowl. Immediately upon finding out about the news, she posted that Prince would never have wanted to be a hologram. And she made sure he wasn't. According to her tweet, she spoke with Justin Timberlake, who reportedly said he has nothing but respect for Prince and his fans.
