Starrah has shared her thoughts on homophobia in hip-hop. The rapper posted a proclamation Thursday afternoon on Twitter: "Rappers gotta chill with homophobia. It’s corny. Their hooks be be written by me and I’m LGBT af," she wrote. This morning, Offset posted an apology for a homophobic lyric rapped during his guest verse in YFN Lucci's "Boss Life." Starrah's manager Nick Jarjour told The FADER over email that her tweets were not targeting the Migos rapper: "Starrah's comments are not directed towards anyone. She is an advocate for social change and was simply speaking out about an issue that has been affecting her and many others for some time."
