Watch Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches cover Joni Mitchell and Cyndi Lauper

During a Christmasy show on Wednesday night, Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches took some time to cover the legends. Along with members of the band and a few guests, she played a rendition of Joni Mitchell's "River," shortly followed by Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time." In between, she did one of her band's own, "The Mother We Share."
