Watch Lion Babe’s glamorous new video for “Rockets”

New York-based duo Lion Babe are joined by rapper Moe Moks in their shimmery new video for “Rockets.” Directed by Chalalai Fischbach and Jett Cain, the video is an ode to the timelessness of ballroom culture.

The latter part of the video, which received creative direction from Lion Babe themselves, features a sparkly dance routine backed by DJ Moma and Guy Furious’s uptempo remix of the track.

Over email, Lion Babe explained what it was like to make the video: “[It was] great to take a break from all the madness in the world to celebrate each other, art, and expression. [It was] a reminder that there is still magic in the world.” Watch the video above.
