The rape case against Nelly has been dropped

The prosecution in the rape case against Nelly has dropped its charges, TMZ reports. In October, Nelly was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on her tour bus. She later asked for the case to be dropped, telling police in a statement through her attorney that "she believes the system is going to fail her."

The King County Prosecuting Attorney's office told TMZ that the “alleged victim’s refusal to cooperate made it impossible for them to go forward.”
