Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has apologized to a photographer after he kicked her in the head during a live show in Los Angeles. Chelsea Lauren shared footage on social media showing Homme knocking her to the ground during his band's set at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas event at The Forum on Saturday, December 9.
"I now get to spend my night in the ER. Seriously, WHO DOES THAT?" she wrote alongside the clip.
Homme has subsequently issued two apologies. In the first, issued via the QOTSA Twitter account, Homme said he was "in a state of being lost in performance" when the incident happened.

The musician subsequently posted a second statement on YouTube in which he said: "I don't have any excuse or reason to justify what I did. I'm truly sorry and I hope you're okay. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, and last night was definitely one of them."
Lauren described the "obviously very intentional" incident to Variety and said she will file a police report.
