Netflix has announced that the new season of Black Mirror will drop on Friday, December 29. Six new episodes of the anthology series will be released in the gap between Christmas and New Year. A trailer for the whole of Season 4 can be seen above.
The new episodes include a Star Trek homage starring Chewing Gum creator Michaela Coel, which is said to tackle the abuse of power in society. Other episodes in the new series include a Jodie Foster-directed tale of technology and parenting, plus the black and white "Metalhead." There will also be an episode looking at online dating through an imaginary app in which the exact date couples will split is shared on their first meeting.
All three previous seasons of Black Mirror, including the two that originally aired on the U.K.'s Channel 4, are available on Netflix now.
