Jorja Smith, Mabel, and Stefflon Don make shortlist for Brits Critics Choice prize 2018

The shortlist for this year's Brits Critics Choice prize has been revealed. Mabel, Jorja Smith, and Stefflon Don are all in with a shout of winning the prize.

Designed to predict future stars, the Critics’ Choice Award is chosen by a team of experts including the journalists and senior figures at major radio and music TV stations. Previous winners have included Adele, Florence + The Machine, and Sam Smith.

The 2018 Critics' Choice Award winner will be announced on Monday December 4 ahead of the February ceremony at London's O2
