J Hus played a rare London show on Wednesday night, packing out the 5000-capacity Brixton Academy on the final date of his Common Sense U.K. tour. The show was a big opportunity for Hus and his team, who have struggled to book shows in the capital city over the past two years. The MC's two stints in prison and the prejudicial policing of live music in the city, codified in the recently scrapped Form 696, combined to make a Hus gig in London nigh on impossible.
However, with a sold out crowd at one of London’s most well-loved venues, he snatched his moment in the spotlight and put on a massive show filled with guest stars, flashy production, and massive mosh-pits. It capped off a big year for Bouff Daddy and showed that on current form he is one of the U.K.'s most energetic and engaging performers, but that there is potential to turn this live show into something even bigger.
Here is a run-down of everything that went down on the night.
Hus emerged from a giant fisherman hat with his name on it.

There were four Mercedes Benzs on stage.
Every woman in the audience was given a glowing wristband that lit up throughout the show.
There were lazers, flames, and even bubbles popping off regularly.
This mosh pit when “Clartin” kicked off was epic.
I saw J Hus perform earlier this year, at The O2 for Boy Better Know Takeover, and everyone that watched him tonight are lucky. He's puts on a hell of a show, the mosh pit at BBK Takeover was madddddddddddd, Clartin goes off #CommonSense #JHus pic.twitter.com/3UBJkBBETr

And set closer “Did You See” brought the night to a triumphant ending.
