Britsh vocalist Emeli Sandé released new EP Kingdom Coming earlier in November. The six-track project saw Sandé working with rappers including Dave East, Wretch 32, and U.K. road rap king Giggs. The EP followed her 2016 studio album Long Live The Angels, which Sandé spoke to The FADER about at the time. That album came after he hugely successful debut, 2012's Our Version Of Events.
The video for her Giggs collab, "Higher," is premiering on The FADER today. The video marks smart use of silhouettes, with both artists performing together in front of a series of vivid backdrops.
Speaking to The FADER via email, Sandé said of the video: "We shot this on our one day off in between tour dates. It was such a pleasure to get to know Giggs better and to work with two directors I admire so much creatively, Myles Whittingham & Christopher Cargill. I feel like this video really reflects what inspired the song perfectly."
