Whether he’s singing about the disgruntled people in his life over the acoustic guitar-based beat of “Mad,” skillfully bobbing and weaving through the The Life Of Pierre 2’s more classic-Pi’erre sounding“water boy,” or delivering a vocoder-assisted love letter to cash on “cash bro,” Bourne shows off a melodic sensibility that’s impressive — and leaves you diving deeper into his catalog for more.
