Valee is the best rapper you haven’t heard of yet
Flows and one-liners for days.
A few things you should know about Valee: the 28-year-old Chicago rapper and producer is fond of Yorkies, Shell gas stations, and high-end designer footwear. He also happens to be one of the best rappers in America right now, packing unreal, sassy flows into delightfully short songs. Valee doesn't have a whole ton of music out, but his releases over the past year or two — including this year's 1988 mixtape and VTM, a full-length collab with St. Louis producer ChaseTheMoney — are enough to have won me over.

Start with "Shell," the 2016 breakout hit that got him buzzing in Chicago and beyond.
Then hit play on "Flow," a fun lil' boast that you'll be singing to yourself all day.
The two-in-one video for "Yo Gotti" and "VTL" goes super hard.
Valee has a song called "Cole Haan." Enough said.
Follow that all up with the 11-track 1988.
