Clara La San is the U.K.’s best-kept bedroom pop secret, and she’s finally releasing a mixtape
Listen to “Feel Good” now.
Clara La San is a singer/producer whose woozy bedroom pop has been bubbling for a while now. In 2014, she caused a stir online with her airy ballad "Let You Go" on dance label Gang Fatale, and in 2016 she featured on MssingNo's Fones EP on XL Recordings. Today, she announces her own debut mixtape Good Mourning: 11 downtempo, entrancing tracks featuring co-production from Jam City.
On the Shalamar-interpolating lead single "Feel Good," Clara sends a cutting message to an ex over a sultry and spaced-out beat. In an email to The FADER, she explained: "Sometimes the only person who can make you feel good is yourself." Listen exclusively below.
