OVO signee Roy Woods has released a brand-new single called "Afterparty." The FrancisGotHeat-produced track features rappers Lil Yachty and Swae Lee and plays on the idea that women are the only ones worthy of an invitation to their after-parties. All festivities aside, Woods uses his verses to reflect on his rise to stardom and celebrate his accomplishments:
"16 when I started rappin', now I'm 21 and made/ Niggas envy me, 'cause I never changed/ Still the same Denzel with the Jheri curls and the fade."
Last year, Woods surprise dropped his Nocturnal EP. Earlier this year, the 21-year-old tweeted that he was working on his debut album titled Say Less. A release date for the studio project has not been revealed, but this collaboration is the first official single off the album.
