Multiple albums from Matt Mondanile's solo project Ducktails have been removed from major streaming services, Pitchfork reports. His albums St. Catherine and The Flower Lane, both released on Domino, have been removed from Apple Music and Spotify.
Mondanile's 2017 Jersey Devil album, released through his own label, is no longer on Spotify or Tidal but remains available on Apple Music. According to Pitchfork, the independent music distributor The Orchard issued the takedowns.
Earlier in October, multiple outlets reported that Mondanile had been fired from Real Estate in 2016 following “allegations of unacceptable treatment of women.” Since those reports, a number of women have detailed Mondanile's alleged sexual assault and misconduct.
On October 20, Mondanile responded to the allegations, writing, "I’ve been an insensitive creep and again I apologize to everyone and anyone who was affected by this."
When reached by The FADER, a representative for The Orchard declined to comment. A representative for Domino was not immediately available for comment.
