Loyle Carner's current U.K. headline tour has seen him play to some of the biggest crowds of his career so far. However, a show in Norwich on Sunday, October 8, was memorable for the wrong reasons. During the show at the University of East Anglia, Carner ejected a fan who had reportedly made sexist comments toward, Elisa from London-based support act Elisa & Srigala.
Carner addressed the fan in question, saying: “I’m sorry man, you gotta learn a lesson my young man. You gotta go. For being sexist, you gotta go.”
I respect @LoyleCarner tonight for his support for women 🙌🏽🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/zTWSthYUsP

Carner, whose debut album Yesterday's Gone was nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize, has also tweeted to confirm that the person in question has been permanently banned from the venue.
That shit will not be tolerated at any show. He's been banned from that venue, for life. https://t.co/TK4ouHQgv0
